This was a simple reverse engineering job to allow the customer who produces the handmake copper roses to make the production process more efficient through use of laser cutting the petal template blanks.
The photos show the hand drawn templates that we were provided with. These were then reverse engineered, copying the profiles and checking against the new 1:1 scale templates.
Samples were provided to the customer for checking and approval. The correct CAD files then produced and supplied so that the items could then be laser cut in batches rather than each one hand cut out before shaping to produce the final finished item also shown.
